Good Evening, Family!🤝
This week, we praise God for:
💟 Vasthi reported that Genoveva, whom we prayed for last week before her surgery, is recovering and out of the hospital. We praise God for keeping her, as she came very close to losing her life. Thank you, Jesus, for your care over her!
💟 Carole is praising God for the fact that her husband, Joel's recovery is moving in the right direction. Let's keep praying for him to be fully recovered and strengthened.
💟 All of the young people, every Sabbath at the Lighthouse. Their willingness to help, to serve and to lead are an inspiration to everyone. We are so veryy BLESSED to have each of them! 🤗
We are also praying for:
🛐 Micharen's uncle, Ismael. He is not doing well and had been in and out of the hospital recently. Praying for God's presence, love and mercy surround him, his wife and his family.
🛐 Micharen's dad, who lost his brother back in the Dominican Republic. May the Lord give him strength and courage, and may He grant the family peace and comfort.
🛐 Nancy, Sue's sister-in-law, as she continues her three week radiation treatment for cancer. May God give her strength and healing.
🛐 Vasthi asked the church to pray for her nephew, Mikey, for Cedric and for all of our young people.
🛐The Edmond Family requested prayer for traveling mercies and a safe trip. May the Lord also continue to guide and lead them as they plan their move to Georgia.
🛐 Zully, Sue's other sister-in-law, who is also fighting cancer. May God be with her and help her to feel his presence.
🛐 Nelly's grandson, Jordan, as he faces a very difficult time in his life. May anything God allows in his life bring Jordan closer to Him!
🛐 Our brother, John Vega, who begins radiation treatment soon. May God continue to be close to him every step of this journey.
🛐 Nelly, and for answers to her health questions. May God grant her team of doctors the wisdom they need to figure out this mystery.

🛐 Anna Ortiz as she continues to battle cancer, and for her family as they support her.
Tonight we continue our weekly commitment to drawing attention to our partnership with Prison Ministry by sharing a devotional written by someone who was changed by the ministry.
Let's continue to pray for those in prison, and should any of you feel a calling to be involved in prison ministry (in other ways beside our annual Angel Tree project), please let us know. This is an area of ministry that the Lighthouse at Riverside would love to expand. 🙏🏽
I SURRENDER MY LONELINESS
Psychologists tell us that more people suffer from the effects of loneliness than any other malady. Though there is very little privacy behind prison walls, there is also very little companionship, friendship, and trust. Where can a friend be found? Jesus promises, "I am with you always." (Matthew 8:20) TOGETHER IN PRISON “Continue to remember those in prison as if you were together with them in prison, and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering.” (Hebrews 13:3, NIV)
When I was in prison, so many people were “prisoners by my side.” And they showed me the reality of Jesus Christ's life in them. Chuck Colson was my fellow prisoner. We had a prayer group that grew from the two of us to seven to 35, and we saw tremendous answers to our requests to God. We experienced warm and vital fellowship in the midst of the despair of prison.
Then Chuck was released, but he didn't forget me. He and many others kept coming back. And when I was released, they didn't abandon me. They were waiting for me with a place to live, a job, and plenty of encouragement.
When I think about how much that support meant to me, I want to pass that same sharing and love on to others behind bars. Peter,* released from federal prison
PRAYER: Lord, thank you for fellowship, for the unity of your family. Thank you that we are never alone, but have brothers and sisters by our sides wherever we are. Amen.
