Good evening, Family!โ๏ธ
In case you didn't know it before, we serve A LOVING, POWERFUL AND MERCIFUL GOD and He teaches us again and again that when it seems like nothing else can be done, He steps in and did what only He can do!
This week, we praise God for:
๐ The Lozano Familyโs dog, Samson, getting back great results after diagnostic testing and we are praising God right along with his family!
๐ Mrs. Munoz (Seth's teacher) said Evangeline (baby A) is 3.5 lbs now! They are currently waiting for 2nd scan results for brain bleed but daily reports are good. Isabel (baby B) is over 4 lbs and doing well too! Both girls were finally stable enough to meet each other. Attached is their first family picture! (Mrs. Munoz gave permission to share with church) Please continue to pray for their continued NICU journey.
๐ Carole's family experiencing miracles! Both Racheal and Michael Christopher are doing better from Covid! Racheal tested negative and Michael opened his eyes! May the Lord keep working in their lives.
๐ Bianca and Vishal are grateful for all that the Lord has helped them to get done before their first baby's arrival in early March. Please keep praying for continued protection for Bianca and baby, and for a safe and healthy delivery. ๐ผ
๐Sue's mom, Olga, and her brother, Frank, have recovered from Covid and are getting stronger every day!
๐Angelica is grateful for the new opportunities to help others. May God keep granting her open doors!
We are also praying for:
๐ Jose, a member of Nelson's local, who is in the hospital with Covid and his condition is being complicated by diabetes. His kidneys are failing. He's a husband, a dad, and a faithful friend in need of a miracle.
๐ Liz, the daughter of Nelly's neighbor. She had to be admitted to the hospital with COVID, and her condition has worsened. Please pray for healing.
๐Vasthi's coworker, Maria, who had back surgery and is need of healing and a full recovery.
๐ Monkey. He is showing signs on some improvement, but we are all still very limited because of pain.๐พ๐พ
๐ Peter's dad's nephew, who passed away from Covid. Please keep the family in your prayers. Peter encouraged us all to remember the guidelines for our safety and the safety of others.
๐ All those who are battling Covid at this moment, including Angรฉlica's friend, Michelle. May God grant them healing.
๐ Anna Ortiz, who was in cancer remission, but the cancer has returned with a vengeance and is now in her bones. Please pray for her during this process. Pray for her family as well!
Today's Devotional was shared by Noemi, who likes to call herself an OG reader of the Lighthouse at Riverside's Daily Devotional.๐
Now she's finally a contributor! ๐๐ฝ Thank you, Noemi, for such a magnificent reminder that our God is incomparables Creator! ๐ฆ ๐ณ๐ฑ
When I was little our mom would always tell us that God took care even of the little birds so we never ever had to worry about anything.
When we had troubles in life like the loss of a job, an illness, money problems, marriage problems, or even trouble with our relationship with God, my mom would remind us to remember the little birds...and to trust Him to take care of us because He had already given us all we needed to get through the situation.
My mother was always right. God has always provided for me and our family and I find that I always have what I need, because all good things come from Him.
A friend sent me this video and I cried like a baby as I watched it. This little bird is not a college graduate with a degree in architecture or design. She doesn't get to watch YouTube videos a hundred times to see and learn how to make this nest for her babies. She can't shop at Home Depot or Lowes for building materials. Yet, look at how incredible her skills are.
That's because God created and provided her with everything she needed in order to care for herself and her family. What a perfect creator Our God is. How can anyone not believe after seeing this?
