Devotional for April 18, 2021

Good Evening, Family!🧎🏼‍♀️

This week, we praise God for:

💟 Patricia and Angelica thank God for their loving church family and for the love and encouragement they showed to John during his Week of Love! 🥰

💟 Bringing Andy back safe and sound from his trip to Puerto Rico.

💟 María thanks God for keeping Jordan safe while he's away from home, and asks that we keep him in prayer always!

💟 All of the young people at the Lighthouse. Their willingness to help, to serve and to lead are an inspiration to everyone. We are so very BLESSED to have each of them! 🤗

We are also praying for:

✝️ Continued safety and traveling mercies for the Edmond Family as they travel back from Georgia. May God watch over and guide their every step.

🛐 Our brother, John Vega, who will get test results back from his surgeon this week. May John and his family be ASSURED of God's love and care.

🛐 Nelly, who missed church after another (serious) episode. May God grant the doctors the answers we need in order to prevent them.

🛐 Diana, Leiana’s mother, as she grieves this unimaginable loss. Pray for all those who loved and knew Leiana, and will feel her loss in their lives.

🛐 Bianca, Vishal and Sebastian Suri. May the Lord shower their beautiful family with blessings from above.

🛐 Our sister, Evelyn, as continues to recover from her surgery. May she experience less pain with each passing day towards a full recovery.

🛐 Karina asked for protectiin and guidance as Perth Amboy returns to in-person teaching following spring break.

🛐 Micharen's aunt, uncle, and her cousins, Ralph and Jr. May the Lord work out miracles on their behalf.

🛐 Maria, who has been suffering from Tinnitus in her ear. She’s asking for prayer as she is going to see a specialist. Let’s ask for wisdom and for the doctor to offer her much-needed relief and healing.

🛐 Angelica, as she has been given new and exciting opportunities at work, and in her educational career as she pursues her Master's degree.

🛐 Doris, and her daughters, Jackie, Amanda and their children, Skylar, Heaven Lee, Dorian, Zaire and Amir. May God keep working miracles in their lives.

🛐 Seth...that God would continue to shower him with His goodness, grace and love. May God work out the NEXT MIRACLE in his life! May He also work out the issue with the needed MRI.

🛐 Anna Ortiz. Kristina provided us with this update: They found another lump behind her neck and she's now receiving treatment for that as well. Despite it all she's in good spirits and thankful for the prayers.

Hello. I always read these messages and try to imagine the people who send them. I pray for them and their families and for whatever problems they could face in their lives and families.

I don’t know much about too many of you but I know that you are different kind of people. I remember when this started last year, I thought it was such a good thing. I said to myself, “I wonder how long this will be able to go on.” I just didn't want it to end.

I live in another state and I was so happy by the way everyone was helping to make this happen that I mentioned it to a couple of people in my church. Every church should have something like this to help people feel like they are not alone. No one took it like an idea we could do. I was told it was impossible to keep it going.

That’s why I say you are different. You work together and you inspire outside people to want to help and work with you to keep people thinking spiritual things. It took me a long time to say I wanted to do it but I finally did it. I really wish I lived closer. Even if I had to drive I would like to be part of a church that believes we could do anything for God and people who need him in their lives.

Thank you for doing this for more than a year. I was told it was impossible so I guess it's harder than we realize. Let's all be thankful for each other and those who keep it going. 😊 Let’s keep praying for ourselves and for one another. He has the power we need to change lives. 🧎🏻

I have learned so many things and my faith is growing. Keep working together. You are a real Lighthouse! 🌟Hallelujah!
