Happy Sabbath, Worshipers! 🦅
In an attempt to make joining our Worship service easier, Matthew will add a pop-up to our website each Sabbath morning that you can click on and be taken directly to the Zoom Worship meeting. You will no longer need to worry about a separate link.🎵🎶
Thank you, Matthew, for continuing to look out for your church family by making things easier! 😊
Today’s comforting Devotional, submitted by Micharen Soto, is exactly the respite we all need from this week and the news it delivered each day! 😌 Thank you, Charen, for reminding us that we have an unfailing refuge from the storms of life! 🌨🦠🗳
Psalm 46:1 "God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble."
By definition, a refuge is a safe place. When the Bible describes God as our refuge, it is saying that God is our safe place when we need protection from something. Knowing God is our refuge enables us to trust Him more freely. We need not fear situations or people who threaten our well being, whether in a physical or spiritual sense.
There is no situation we will ever face that is out of God's control, so the best place to be, always, is right with Him.
In these uncertain times that we are living in, with the Covid cases rising again and the uncertainty of who our next president will be, remember that God is always in control. Take refuge in Him.
Thank you, Mich for the reminder that God is Our refuge and is in control of everything.
