"You o Lord, keep my lamp burning, my God turns my darkness into light." Psalms 18:28
During this pandemic, we have all faced some kind of difficulty or struggle, whether it was losing a loved one, sickness, financial, losing a job, or not being able to spend special occasions with family and friends.
Brothers and sisters, these things don’t happen by mistake, most things happen for a reason. When we trust in the Lord faithfully we get to understand those struggles a little lighter. Everyday we need to give all of our worries and anxieties to the Lord. Let him be the one to guide us each day we wake up, knowing it is a new day, a new beginning to give it all to him and say "Lord, let it be all your will, not mine."
I look back to a year ago when I had no job and it gives me chills to see how awesome He has been to me and my family. I won’t lie to you and say it was easy or perfect. But when we trust in a mighty God and know He will never leave us or forsake us, and how faithful he is in His timing, not ours.
Believe me, I have so much to be thankful and praise him each day through the good and even the not so good. He has taught me so many lessons and each day I ask him to be my light in my life because without him I am nothing!!
The apostle Paul showed Christians to be joyful always and to pray continually. There is always joy to be found in Gods presence, and He promised us He will never leave us or forsake us. That’s such a beautiful promise I honor, because He has never left me or forsaken me.
So I encourage you today to try leaving all your worries and anxieties and everything you are facing and trust in Him with all your heart. So whenever you face a difficulty you won’t see it the same as before, you will say, "Lord I trust in you and I know your plans are greater than mine."
May God bless you! Love you all!
I appreciate the encouragement Damaris❤️. Thank you!
Thanks for the reminder 🙏🏻❤️
