Happy Sabbath, Family!
Among all of the uncertainty and divisiveness in our world, there is a constant and unifying blessing that awaits us as God’s children, and that is the blessing of coming together in the very presence of God in worship.
Like never before, we eagerly anticipate worshiping together with each of you tomorrow morning at 11:30 am. 🙌🏽
Today’s boldtering Devotional, submitted by Gilbert Guzman, provides us with two well-established truths. One is that we fail. The other is that He does not. ☝🏽I don't know about you, but I needed to hear that today. Thank you, Gilbert, for sharing such a timely message. 😇
I have failed 1000 times, but still your mercy remains! Failure can be frustrating. But failing doesn’t mean you have no faith. You can have the faith of Moses to lead millions of people through the Red Sea and still strike the rock for water.
“Failure should be our teacher, not our undertaker. Failure is delay, not defeat. It is a temporary detour, not a dead end. Failure is something we can avoid only by saying nothing, doing nothing, and being nothing.” - Denis Waitley
You may fail but you’re not a failure and yes you can fail forward. God calculated your failures in His plan - this is why we need Jesus.
I’ve failed. I fail. And I will fail at some point in the future. Everything won’t be all right all the time. What I do know though is failure doesn’t eradicate my faith. But faith can eradicate my failures one by one. Be encouraged God is close to the humble, the broken hearted, those who know they can’t do without Him. Is that you? You know you can’t do without Him? Give Him a praise! Shout to Him and remember that “We are more than conquerors through HIM who loves us ❤️. I don’t know about you, but in those moments of failure, I am going to make sure I fail forward, into His arms!!
What a powerful concept! Thank you Gilbert for the enlightenment.❤️ I too pray that I fail forward every time 🙏🏽
