Good evening, Family.⌚️
As we begin to prepare to put this year in our rear view mirror, let's make it a point to praise our God and Savior for bringing our Lighthouse at Riverside family through this year. We praise Him for healing those who were touched by this virus and for granting them healing and recovery.
May the memories of those extended family members whom we've lost forever be a blessing in the way we remember them and tell their stories. 🤍
This week, we praise God for:☝🏽
Granting Vasthi and AJ another year of life to celebrate!
Protection and healing over Charen through her health emergency and helping her to recover from surgery.
The way the Lighthouse at Riverside Church family takes care of each other and is such a blessing in the lives of so many, based on the testimonies of so many!
Traveling mercies over Matthew & Ashley as they traveled to Watertown, NY and are back home safely, in spite of a snowstorm and 7 hours of travel each way!
This week, we are praying for:🙏
. OUR BELOVED SETH. May the Lord move in Seth's body once again and use this opportunity to bring glory to His name!☝🏽 We know God has never failed Seth and won't start now!
• My sister, Cassandra, her husband, Torrey, and nephew, Elijah as they have all tested positive for COVID. Pray for God's protection over them and their children, Devion and Kiara, that they might remain negative.

The fact that over 334,000 fellow Americans have lost their lives in the past ten months JUST TO THIS VIRUS, should inspire each of us to ask ourselves what it is that God has for us to do or accomplish FOR HIM that He would spare our lives. I can guarantee you that it's not so that we could make more money, get a bigger or better house, car or partner. HE BLESSES US THAT WE MIGHT BLESS OTHERS. Life is a gift, granted to us ONLY BY GOD. We must never lose sight of that, and we should live each day as people who are acutely aware of this priceless gift.
He became flesh...that He might dwell with us.
He has been made heir of all things.
He became poor, that we might become rich.
All He has ever done has been for others. For YOU. FOR ME. Are we willing to do the same?
